This series of evening workshops will explore Social Entrepreneurship — the next generation of entrepreneurship. Social Entrepreneurship is the use of business-like approaches to create, fund and implement solutions to social, and environmental issues. It combines the passion of a social mission with business-like development, strategies and innovation. The workshops will focus on understanding the basics, exploring financing options and launching an initiative.

Social enterprises carry with them a unique set of funding challenges and opportunities. Learn what the funding realities are for both for profit and not for profit enterprises, and where and how to access funding. You will also have the opportunity to hear about alternative funding solutions, learn from success stories and engage with a panel of funding agencies.
